Preparing a garage appliance for pickup
Identify the appliance, empty it and confirm that utilities are disconnected before arranging removal.
Describe the item
Give the type, approximate size and location. A refrigerator, dryer and small microwave present different handling questions.
Handle utilities safely
Do not improvise gas, electrical or plumbing disconnection. Arrange a qualified professional for work the appliance requires.
Clear contents and access
Empty food and personal items. Explain whether the appliance is on a platform, behind stored boxes or near a narrow opening.
Confirm the route
Ask the removal provider whether the exact model is accepted and whether any special handling applies before pickup day.
